Stalactite formations inside amethyst geodes take thousands of years to develop, depositing layers of agate and quartz in slow concentric rings around a central tube. When the geode is cut open, those rings become the mesmerizing bullseye patterns you see in this piece — stalactite eyes with sage green and cream colored centers embedded in a dramatic spread of deep purple amethyst and sparkling white druzy.

Stalactite amethyst carries all the protective, clarifying energy of traditional amethyst with an added dimension — the slow, patient formation process is said to hold the energy of perseverance and transformation over time. The surrounding amethyst ranges from pale lavender at the druzy edges to deep grape purple in the cavities.

Displayed on a black iron easel, the whole piece spreads like a pair of wings. A collector’s piece and a powerful meditation anchor. It belongs somewhere it can be seen from across the room.
