Rainbow Amethyst in Agate with Stalactite & Goethite • Brazil

A polished freeform on a metal stand, the surface is a map of color that shouldn’t exist in the same stone — soft pinks and lavender druzy bleeding into charcoal grey agate, with pockets of cobalt blue so vivid they look almost painted.

The blues are stalactite cross-sections, formed over millennia as silica rich water deposited concentric layers of blue agate around a central tube. When the geode was cut, those tubes became eyes. Goethite inclusions add dark thread like stitches through the pink and grey zones, carrying the energy of deep emotional excavation (Goethe, the poet it’s named for, believed that grief was a creative force, and the mineral follows suit).

The amethyst provides spiritual protection and third eye activation. The agate grounds and stabilizes. And those blue eyes are the thing you’ll keep coming back to — they hold their color from every angle and they seem to look back.
